Executive Chef: Zhen Liu

During his training at the Chinese Culinary Institute, Mr. Liu Zhen, the Executive Chef, studied different schools of Chinese cuisine and acquired a wealth of knowledge in Chinese cuisine. After graduation, he joined the culinary industry and worked as the Executive Chef of a five-star hotel for quite a few years.
Inspired by the in-depth culture of his hometown Ningbo and the rich fishery resources, he followed the founder of Yong Fu, Mr Weng Yongjun, for more than 20 years and devoted himself to researching the culture and techniques of Ningbo cuisine, building Yong Fu into a representative brand of exquisite Ningbo cuisine that combines tradition and bold innovation.
In 2019, he and his team set up Yong Fu Hong Kong to bring his in-depth understanding of ingredients and boldly experiment with local Hong Kong ingredients in a Ningbo style, bringing new vibrations to Yong Fu’s exquisite Ningbo cuisine.
Mr Liu’s passion for food is evident in every dish served at Yong Fu Hong Kong.
